A mid-size mining & chemical company managed daily production across three lines using shared Excel spreadsheets — version conflicts, lost entries, and zero audit trail were weekly problems.
We built a web-based production tracker that replaced the entire Excel workflow: real-time batch logging, QC pass/fail tracking, shift handover notes, and a management dashboard with exportable reports.
The Problem
Three production lines, six shift supervisors, one shared spreadsheet. Data overwrites caused lost records, there was no audit trail, and management reports took half a day to compile manually.
Our Approach
Role-based web app built with Laravel + Vue. Each line supervisor gets their own live input form. Batch records are locked on submission. QC flags trigger supervisor alerts. All data is timestamped and attributable.
The Outcome
Excel eliminated on day one of launch. Management reports now generate in seconds. Zero data loss incidents in 14 months of production use.
